This page will help you navigate through the Nara Sushi Online Ordering System. We have tried to make ordering as simple and convenient as possible. Please use the links below to find assistance on the subject with which you need help:

Categories
The Categories drop-down box, which contain the Categories of food offered by Nara Sushi, appears on every page except the Checkout Page. To go to a particular Category of foods offered, simply click on the Drop-down box and highlight the category you wish to select. Then release your mouse and you are taken to the corresponding page where you can begin making your food selections.

Search Box
The Search Box allows you to search for a particular word or food item within Nara Sushi. For example, you can type in the word "tuna" or "sandwich" and all items with "tuna" or "sandwich" in their titles will appear in a list. You can then find out about that item by getting its Item Description or add it to the OrderPad.

Item Descriptions
Each item throughout the site is linked to a description box. To find out about a particular item simply click on the title of that item. A small pop-up window will appear presenting you with a description of that item. Close the window when you have read the description. You may then add your items directly to the OrderPad.

Unavailable Items
Some menu items are not permitted to be ordered at certain times of the day. For instance, lunch specials are not permitted to be ordered during dinner hours. To prevent you from ordering items that are unavailable during certain times of the day, those items will appear with a red circle with a line through it and a link which says "Click here for item availability info." Clicking on that link will cause a small pop-up window to appear informing you of the available times for that item.

OrderPad
The OrderPad appears on every page except the Home Page. The OrderPad is exactly what you would expect it to be...a Pad to track your Order. As you select items from the menu, they are added to your OrderPad where they reside until you have finished and moved to the Checkout page. (Notice the OrderPad tracks your running total as well as the associated tax. It does not track any delivery charges if there are any. Those fees will be displayed on the Checkout page.) The OrderPad changes slightly on the Checkout page. You cannot alter the OrderPad on the Checkout page itself, but you CAN go back to any page within the site and from there you may make changes to your OrderPad. To alter the OrderPad simply use the Eraser.

The Eraser
The Eraser appears wherever the OrderPad appears. Once an item is added to the OrderPad, a small Eraser appears next to each item. To delete any item on the OrderPad simply click the Eraser next to that item. You cannot change the quantity of a particular item ordered on the OrderPad. To alter the quantity of an item you must delete the item first using the Eraser and then add the correct quantity by using the Plus Sign and Qty Boxes on the menu pages.

Plus Signs and QTY Boxes
The Plus Signs appear next to every item throughout the menu pages. They are used in conjunction with the Qty (Quantity) Boxes and are very simple to use. If you wish to place a single item on the OrderPad simply click the Plus Sign next to that item. If you wish to add two or more of any given item, simply fill in the quantity in the Qty Box and click the Plus Sign next to that item. That quantity will be added to the OrderPad. You may also add multiple items and multiple quantities using the Plus Signs and Qty Boxes. For example, you may fill in a quantity in any or all of the Qty Boxes, then click the Plus Sign next to any of those items and ALL items selected will be automatically added to the OrderPad. To delete them from the OrderPad simply use the Eraser. You may add and delete items as often as you wish. Your order will not be placed with Nara Sushi until you check out. To go to the Checkout Page simply click the Cash Register.

Cash Register
The Cash Register appears on all pages that contain the OrderPad. It is a simple way to proceed to the Checkout Page. Once you have added items to your OrderPad you can click the Register to check out. From the Checkout Page you can finalize your order.

Checkout
The Checkout Page is the last page you will go before your order is actually transmitted to Nara Sushi. From this page you will be presented with Forms that you will be required to complete so that your order can be finalized and submitted to the restaurant. The information you will be required to complete will be dependent upon whether Nara Sushi offers credit card payment options, delivery options or simply take out and eat in options. Please fill in all required fields in the forms. Your order cannot be placed without all required information being accurately completed. It is also very important that you review our Privacy Statement regarding information you submit on the Checkout Page.

Comment Box
The Comment Box appears only on the Checkout Page and allows you to transmit any special instructions for your order. Any text may be entered into this box. For example, you may use this box to let Nara Sushi know when you would like an order to be ready for pick-up or dining in or how you wish to have a particular item prepared.

Cookies
No doubt, alot has been said about the positive and negative aspects of cookies. Cookies are small bits of information that a web server stores about you or your browser "session". The information can be stored on your hard drive or in your browser's memory. If you visit a web site that uses cookies, the amount and type of information as well as how it is stored is determined by the authors of the web pages on the site you are visiting. This of course means that the information that is obtained and stored can be used for good or not so good depending upon the authors. At Nara Sushi, the only information that is stored are variables that allow us to track your customer ordering information. For example, this particular site assigns an id cookie which is a randomly generated number. Session information within the Nara Sushi site such as an id, is all that we store in a cookie and it is only meant to help keep track of your order. Sensitive information such as your credit card number is never stored in a cookie from this site. It is important that you review our Privacy Statement regarding information you submit within this site.

Tax
The prevailing tax rate percentage for the city which Nara Sushi resides is displayed on the OrderPad on the Checkout Page ONLY. The OrderPad will display the amount of tax related to your order on all other pages so that you can track your costs. Please note that these rates may change from time to time.

Confirmation Page
Once all of your Ordering, Billing Method and Contact information has been entered on the Checkout Page, click the "Continue Order" Button at the bottom of that page. You will be given a final opportunity to alter your order or continue. When you click "Ok" you will be presented with a Confirmation Page. This page will display all pertinent information about your order. Please print this page as it will serve as a receipt of your purchase. If you find an error on this page, please be sure to call Nara Sushi immediately and inform them of the error. This will ensure that your order is completed to your satisfaction.

Confirmation Email
When you arrive at the Confirmation Page an email will be generated and sent to the email address listed on the Checkout Page. This email will confirm that the order has been recorded on the GetFoodToday.com servers. However, it does not necessarily mean that Nara Sushi has recieved the order. Restaurants on the GetFoodToday.com system receive their orders via FAX or email. This means that once the GetFoodToday.com servers record your order, it must then deliver that order to Nara Sushi. Most restaurants on the GetFoodToday.com system will confirm your order by calling or emailing a final verification that your order has been received. However, not all restaurants do this. If you are concerned about the status of your order, feel free to give Nara Sushi a call to confirm your order.
